Daikin Altherma Heat Pump

Altherma is the commercial name given to the Daikin air source air-to-water heat pump system. The Altherma system is designed to replace conventional fossil fuel boilers (Gas/LPG/Oil/direct electric) to providing 3-5 times more energy efficient heating and hot water to family homes.

The Daikin Altherma air-to-water air source heat pump system comprises two components, an outdoor heat absorbing unit (heat pump) and an indoor heat exchanger hydro-box unit, connected by refrigerant pipe work. In addition to these a compatable unvented cylinder is also used to store hot water.

Altherma incorporates the very latest in inverter and heat exchanger technology, uses the most efficient R-410A non ozone depleting refrigerant and state-of-the-art electronic controls. These technologies are harmonised to achieve the highest recorded operating efficiencies in all weather conditions (down to -15°C) producing water temperatures up to 55°C without supplementary electric heating.

Daikin Altherma systems will help reduce
• Energy consumption
• Energy Bills
• CO2 Emissions

Daikin Altherma air to water heat pumps are generally less expensive to install, and being more technologically advanced, have equal if not better seasonal efficiencies compared to ground source heat pumps.

Daikin Altherma

As each house is different, we would have to assertain the heating requirements by performing a home survey. After which you will be provided with a report stating the heating requirements and savings to be made using the Daikin Altherma system.

Give us a call on 01925 819000 or email us at sales@alternativeenergystore.co.uk if you would like to find out more.

The Daikin Altherma is not a DIY install system and can only be installed by Daikin certified persons.
