A heat exchanger is used to obtain the most economical installation for swimming pool heating. It can be linked to the house boiler so that heat is supplied to the pool via the heat exchanger when it is not required for the house. They can also be used in conjunction with solar thermal collectors to provide free heating during the day when the sun is shining.
The heat exchanger should be sized according to the pool capacity, situation and boiler /solar collector output. The output of the heat exchanger specified is the maximum that may be reasonably expected, we therefore suggest that if you have any doubt when sizing you select the next size up.
Our heat exchangers are wall mounted and are maintenance free. They are fabricated using type 316 marine stainless steel ensuring long service.
These heat exchangers can also be used on Koi carp ponds.
